Ali Celik is the Executive Chef and Owner of Villa di Como and 288 Lark Wine & Tap, both on Lark Street in Albany, NY, where he also produces Villa di Como marinara and Hot Italian Oil. A native of Istanbul, Turkey, Ali trained at his family’s restaurants in Lake Como, Italy, before moving to the United States where he took over an established Italian restaurant, Mercato’s, in Delmar, NY. In 2019, he opened 288 Lark Wine & Tap where he became well known for his tableside flambéed cacio e pepe.
