From the bar team at Hamlet & Ghost we get All the Rage, a vivacious refreshing winter spritz with cranberry notes from Martini Fiero and fizz from sparking wine. But, like all good Kitchen Raid recipes, it's flexible. Martini Fiero falls somewhere in the bitter spirits family between Aperol and Campari, so if you have either left over from your summer Aperol Spritz or Campari granita, you'll be able to play around with this too. 1 1/2 ounces Martino Fiero |
1/2 ounces St. Germain Elderflower Liqueur |
4 ounces dry sparkling wine (Cava or Prosecco) |
1 slice orange |
3 fresh cranberries |
Tips!
1. You can substitute Aperol or Campari for the Martini Fiero, although you'll lose some of the cranberry notes, it will work as a variation on the drink.
2. If you don't have St. Germain Elderflower liqueur in your cabinet, we recommend you grab some because it's a great workhorse in cocktails... BUT, you can substitute the same amount of simple syrup with the tiniest splash of vanilla and get something close to the elderflower liqueur effect. Hey, this is Kitchen Raid! Sometimes you have to work with what you have!
